Brewery Broeder Jacob, located in Tongeren, was founded in 2010 by enthusiastic beer lovers Johan Claes. That same year, they completed their first brew. Recently, Jakob Oostra joined the Broeder Jacob team. The brewery has since experienced impressive growth, thanks in part to a unique approach to brewing beer.
Brother Jacob Brewery’s beer range is inspired by the internationally known children’s song “Brother Jacob.” This melody is literally reflected in each glass, with musical notes on the bottles and a sol key engraved at the bottom of the glass. The brewery offers a wide range of beers, including the Brother Jacob Brown, a dark beer with an alcohol content of 7.5%, and the Brother Jacob Double Espresso, an innovative coffee beer in collaboration with a local coffee roaster.
Broeder Jacob Brewery is a modern and flexible brewery equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. This allows both own beers and beers for third parties to be produced. Thanks to new 20hl tanks, a wide range of beer styles can be brewed to suit specific requirements.
Brother Jacob beers are available in a variety of formats, from 33-cl bottles to 20-liter kegs, so enthusiasts everywhere can enjoy Brother Jacob Brewery’s craft beer.
